Limited Edition, NOS (new/old stock) Boogie Bodies

This is a rare, Limited Edition, NOS (new/old stock) Boogie Bodies. The Telecaster style body is 2-piece solid Koa that is book matched. The top is spectacular Spalted/Tiger striped Maple cap that is also book matched and outlined with a black stripe. The inlaid oval reads as follows; Boogie Bodies Limited Edition # 020.

The hardware is all black, including the Gotoh tuners.
The active Telecaster style bridge pickup is a single coil and the neck pickup is a humbucker, both made by EMG and controlled by a 3-way toggle switch, 1 volume and 1 tone knob, and powered with a 9-volt battery.

The neck 22-fret neck is Birdseye maple with Abolone inlay and was made by Mighty Mite.

This body has been in the shop for decades so the finish may have a knick or a few scuffs, and you can see the area on the back of the lower horn (cutaway) where the buffer stripped a bit of the clear coat off (see photo). This small area can be re finished. The total weight of this guitar is 8 pounds 4 ounces.
